GMS Florida West Coast, Inc. was formed in 1997 by a group of
local Primary Care Physicians in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.
These physicians, many of them leaders in their respective communities,
recognized that the formation of GMS would best serve their practices
and allow them to continue to treat their patients with the same
high quality as in the past. The group has grown to 16 sites and
a total of 45 providers throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco
Counties. Each individual site is managed within the group's corporate
philosophy but given the latitude to create their own personal touch.
GMS is owned solely by its local physicians. Its corporate offices
are located on Amberly Drive in Tampa. GMS provides an array of
benefits for its 200 plus currently employed team members. The
company encourages a friendly work atmosphere with each of its
